FAQ

Outdoor Kitchen Pod questions

Answers about H-POD product selection, marine-grade 304 stainless steel construction, door types, appliances, delivery, quotation and support.

Product Basics

What is an Outdoor Kitchen Pod?

An Outdoor Kitchen Pod is a factory-built integrated outdoor kitchen living space that combines cooking, sink, storage, worktop, lighting and appliance-ready modules in one ready-to-install product.

What is the lifespan of the mechanism?

The expected service life of the mechanism is 10 years under normal operation and regular maintenance. Service life will be affected by operating frequency, load and working environment.

What is the difference between an outdoor kitchen and an Outdoor Kitchen Pod?

A traditional outdoor kitchen is often built on site from separate parts. An Outdoor Kitchen Pod is factory-built as an integrated product, making design, material selection, delivery and installation planning clearer.

Which H-POD models are available?

H-POD is available in three core product sizes: HG-M1, HG-S1 and HG-P1. Each model is planned for different outdoor spaces, capacity needs and appliance combinations.

Is H-POD a BBQ house, cabin or hut?

No. H-POD is positioned as an Outdoor Kitchen Pod, not a BBQ house, BBQ cabin, BBQ hut, garden shed or gazebo. It is an integrated outdoor kitchen product for cooking, dining and outdoor entertainment.

Materials

What material does H-POD use?

H-POD uses marine-grade 304 stainless steel construction for key outdoor kitchen components, supporting outdoor durability, clean finishing and long-term use.

Is stainless steel a good material for outdoor kitchens?

Stainless steel is widely used for outdoor kitchens because it supports corrosion resistance, cleaning, structural strength and weather-ready outdoor use when correctly specified and maintained.

Can the colour and finish be customized?

Yes. H-POD supports selected exterior and cabinet finishes based on available finish categories, project requirements and destination-market quotation confirmation.

What worktop materials are available?

H-POD worktop options can include stainless steel and sintered stone textures, depending on the selected model, configuration and quotation confirmation.

Door & Safety

What door types does H-POD offer?

H-POD supports two door structures: Flip-up Door and Roller Shutter Door. The Flip-up Door creates overhead shade when open, while the Roller Shutter Door saves front opening space.

Is H SAFE optional?

H SAFE is integrated with the Flip-up Door version and is not treated as a loose optional accessory. It supports safer operation for the motorized moving door.

Can the door structure resist wind?

Both door types are designed for Beaufort force 8 wind resistance. Final placement, anchoring and use should follow local site conditions and installation requirements.

What does the H SAFE system include?

H SAFE can include human presence sensing, edge anti-pinch sensing, warning light and sound prompts, physical control buttons, power-off self-locking actuator and emergency stop functions for the Flip-up Door version.

Configuration

Can I configure H-POD before sending an inquiry?

Yes. The configurator helps select door type, model, exterior finish, cabinet finish, worktop material, texture and appliance-ready modules before submitting an inquiry.

Can BBQ grill and Kamado options be selected together?

For HG-S1 and HG-P1, BBQ grill and Kamado options can be selected together when the chosen layout supports them. HG-M1 has more limited appliance capacity.

Can I submit an inquiry without a complete configuration?

Yes. If the configuration is incomplete, the inquiry form can still be submitted, but completing the configuration helps HOREGENER review the requirement more clearly.

Is pricing shown on the website?

No. H-POD pricing depends on model, configuration, finish, appliances, destination and delivery requirements. HOREGENER provides quotations after reviewing the submitted inquiry.

Appliances

What appliances can an Outdoor Kitchen Pod include?

Depending on model and configuration, H-POD can support appliance-ready modules such as BBQ grill, Kamado ceramic grill, refrigerator, range hood, shelf, speaker and TV bracket options.

Are electrical and gas appliances certified?

Electrical and gas appliances are supplied according to the destination market and comply with applicable local certification requirements.

Can appliance choices vary by country?

Yes. Appliance specification, voltage, gas requirements and certification can vary by destination market and should be confirmed during quotation.

Can H-POD include storage and lighting?

Yes. H-POD can include storage, shelves, lighting and utility-ready modules depending on the selected model and configuration.

Delivery & Installation

Can an Outdoor Kitchen Pod be delivered ready to install?

H-POD is factory-built and designed for ready-to-install planning. Final delivery and assembly details depend on product size, destination, site access and local installation conditions.

Can an Outdoor Kitchen Pod stay outside all year?

Year-round outdoor use depends on weather-ready construction, drainage, ventilation, placement, maintenance and destination-market appliance requirements.

Can an Outdoor Kitchen Pod be installed in one day?

A factory-built outdoor kitchen pod can shorten on-site installation time, but final installation duration depends on site preparation, lifting access, utility connection and local installation conditions.

Does an Outdoor Kitchen Pod need planning permission?

Planning permission depends on local regulations, installation site, dimensions, utility connection and property rules. Buyers should confirm local requirements before installation.

Quotation & Support

How much does an Outdoor Kitchen Pod cost?

Outdoor Kitchen Pod cost depends on size, door structure, finish, worktop material, appliances, destination and delivery requirements. HOREGENER provides quotations after the selected configuration is submitted.

Is an Outdoor Kitchen Pod worth it?

An Outdoor Kitchen Pod can be worth it for buyers who want a complete outdoor cooking and entertainment space with clearer product configuration, factory-built structure and shorter on-site planning work.

Does the quotation include freight and local installation?

Unless otherwise agreed in written quotation or contract documents, pricing terms may exclude freight, customs clearance, insurance, destination charges, unloading, lifting, installation and local handling costs.

How can I contact HOREGENER for a quotation?

You can submit the inquiry form with model, configuration and delivery address information. The HOREGENER team will review the requirement and follow up with quotation details.
